Art Alejandro Giraldo

When Tim and I were in France we passed by the StepArt Shop in Hossegor and I found this printed art and couldn't walk past it without buying it. I at first didn't know where to put it to be honest with you but I was sure to find a very good place on the wall, which I did. The artist is Alejandro Giraldo from Colombia.

During my renovation and inspiration research I found this picture from Alfred Eisenstaedt and I ordered it and got it today! I don't know why this picture has made such a great impression on me, but I like it. This is a perfect picture for the bedroom, as this room is mostly filled with things from my old apartment and maybe a little bit too feminine for Tim.

Painting from Luis de Dios

You might have seen parts of this painting on my photos, as it's hanging above our fireplace. It's from the Spanish artists Luis de Dios:

I like his art and it's a splash of colour in our grey-brown-white furniture world. Luis has created many different other paintings, here are some more examples:

He has a style that is different to anything I've seen before and he's really a great artist. I hope to be able to buy a new picture soon. :)
