Why do we like to sleep in nice a hotel room? Of course sleeping in a hotel room often means that you're on vacation and you're relaxed and have all these feelings like being free and you're not thinking about work....but for me it's also the way that these rooms are furnished that I like. And it's sometimes a little bit like changing your life for a few days, don't you think so? The hotel room is (temporarily) your home, where you can retire and you don't need to care about cleaning or cooking, so that's even more luxury then being at your real home. :)

And it's mostly the colours and that you don't have too much furniture in the room and 4 pillows that makes the bed very cozy. I've tried to copy that style for our bedroom as well:
